Oprey Hughson

Passed away on April 15th in her 90th year. Oprey was born in England and came to Canada as a young bride. Wife of the late John Hughson , beloved mother to Lynda (Clare) Folkema, David (Lisa) Hughson and Robert Hughson, beloved grandmother to Angela (Charlie), Bryan, Andrea, Katelyn, Nicole, Brittany and Jessica. Beloved Great grandmother to Dylan, Brianna and Evelynn.  Oprey loved time with family, great friendships made at the boys and girls club senior centre including bowling, swimming, line dancing and cards.  Oprey was a passionate sports fan watching tennis, golf, baseball and several other sports. Special heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Glendale crossing (“her palace”) for 9 years of love and care and for all of the special events that they joyfully provided for all of her family to enjoy with her.
