In loving memory of our son, Bryce...
A bench has been dedicated to Bryce in Springbank Park on Arboretum Ave and is located up the hill from the entrance to Storybook and to the left just past where the parking lot ends.
Once again we want to thank everyone for their heartfelt and touching tributes in memory of Bryce. All contributions were greatly appreciated.
Bryce, you are deeply missed! Your loving essence is celebrated and embraced everyday.. In our Hearts, Always!

Bryce was a very special person.
My sons (Sam and Tristan) and I knew Bryce through our time in Cubs and Scouts (29th London).
I am so very sorry for your loss Maryann and Greg.
You were both such great parents - I remember you both in leadership roles with the 29th.
Sorry --- I didn't know that Bryce was gone until today.
I remember being delighted a while ago at the news of his graduation from Western.
Such a fine young man (with such impressive parents).
All of us who had the privilege to know Bryce have lost somebody important.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Bryce's passing. He was such a wonderful student with tremendous potential, curiosity, motivation, and intellect. Being Bryce's music teacher at Oakridge and private saxophone teacher, I remembered how eager he was to absorb everything I taught him. I remember the day he showed off his new Reference 54 alto! A real beauty! He looked great playing it! We had a lot of overlapping interests, specifically in computers and graphic design. We would even collaborate on a couple projects together. I was so excited for him when he told me he was going into computer science with the possibility of looking at video game design. Such an impressive human being. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed. Rest well, Bryce.

I met Bryce in 2016, during my first year of computer science. He was a good man--friendly to everyone, engaged in the university community, creative, even more enthusiastic than I am about fandom culture. When I ran a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, he showed up for every session. His character was a druid with a fire fetish, and if he didn't quite burn down any of our imaginary towns, he came pretty close sometimes. He got some of us hooked on the anime 'RWBY' and passionately debated what might happen in the next seasons of our favourite TV and book series. His favourite characters were kind and unambiguously heroic--Pyrrha Nikos of Rwby, Harry Potter, Harry Dresden.
You can tell a lot about a man by the narratives he identifies with.
I'm sorry. To his family and Dan, all my condolences.

Dear Marianne, Greg and Lori, and Family,
Words are hard to find during this sad time...Our thoughts and prayers go to you all. (Especially to you Marianne..as Bryce was such comfort and support for you with your mom recently passing).
There are so many words to describe Bryce, brilliant, caring, determined, intelligent, positive, and most of all loyal/loving to his family and friends.
Bryce came into our lives the first day of JK at Byron Northview. Jackson and Bryce had become forever friends from that day on with Claire tagging along. Bryce and Jackson had so many adventures together sharing interests from airplanes, music, Scouts, Robotics and Fan Expo conventions.
Bryce brought so much joy to all of us and a special friendship to Jackson. I couldn't help but listen in on their conversations which always amazed me as they were both so wise beyond their years. Bryce was an inspiration to all of us, smiling and shining a positive light!
He inspires and teaches us even now...to live life to the fullest just as he did.
Thank you for sharing your amazing journey with us Bryce...you are in our hearts forever!
Love Vanessa, Jackson and Claire

It is with sad hearts we are sending profound condolences to the Reid family for the lost of Bryce. We have very fond memories of Bryce within the robotic clubs, both as a member and a mentor. He will be sorely missed and the world is less bright with his passing.
"Somewhere out in the darkness, a phoenix was singing in a way Harry had never heard before: a stricken lament of terrible beauty. And Harry felt, as he had felt about phoenix song before, that the music was inside him, not without: It was his own grief turned magically to song."

Mark and I offer our heartfelt condolences to Greg, Marianne and your extended families. Fond Memories are flooding back to me of Bryce as a toddler in the UK; such a happy and very bright young fellow. I remember he quickly learned how to give me “a bounce” as a greeting.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to witness him grow up, however by all accounts I’m reading today on this platform, he continued to be a shining star who touched the hearts and minds of so many. Healing cyber hugs are floating your way from Tobago.

Dear Marianne, Greg and families,
We are very sad to hear of Bryce's passing. We will always remember Bryce's warm, sweet smile and his determination to achieve anything he set his mind to. We have many cherished memories of Bryce and Andrew getting together for play dates at his house and our house. They shared many good times with the 29th Cub Pack especially on cub camp weekends. The adults loved it too. Bryce made the world a brighter place with his kindness, gentleness and generosity. Our condolences to all of you.

Dear Marianne and Greg,
I am so sad to hear about Bryce. I have such fond memories of him at Kensal Park beginning in grade 1. I knew Bryce as a classmate of my daughter Emily but was also fortunate enough to support him as an EA while he was in grade 5. Not that he ever needed my help. He was strong, capable and determined. And very independent. I fondly remember him as being so polite, smart and kind. Bryce has made the world a better place just by being himself. Thank you Bryce. You will be dearly missed.
Please accept my deepest condolences.

Dear Mrs. Bell and Mr. Reid,
It is with great sadness that I learnt of Reid's sudden passing through a former colleague from Kensal Park French Immersion School. As one of his primary teachers, it's especially sad to hear that Bryce was not able to continue shining his light in this world. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his sense of humour, and for his tenacity. I don't think Bryce knew the meaning of the word obstacle.
My deepest sympathies to you and your families.

I know how much he meant to my other friends and I am so sad to hear of this news.
