I am so very sorry I didn’t hear this news until today. I lost my husband in January so have been in my own cocoon. I just adored this beautiful woman, and I hope she is resting in the most beautiful peace. Alice Hodgson

Our condolences to Donna and Doug, Natalie and Stefan and family.
A lovely video tribute to a remarkable woman who exemplified and shared God’s love to those she met. Marjorie left a lasting legacy to her family. It was a privilege to see Marjorie and Elmer on their island and listen to their amazing stories!

What a beautiful picture of such a pretty little lady-and she always was-a sweet pretty little lady. I can remember Dad calling us a few years ago asking us if we would attend a prayer time once a month for Mark and Anita and we would meet at Doris Tiffin's home. Those times were such a delight, and has been said-Marj. was a real prayer warrior. Of course our prayer times extended to other members of the group that were there. Marj. was so interested in us all and in all of our families, and it was so sad toward the end of our times there, to know that Marj. was not remembering and she knew it. But she would pray and we would help her with names that she couldn't recall and she was so sweet and didn't mind the help at all. Usually would bring a treat even if she knew that someone else bringing a snack that day. Maybe just before Covid, they invited us to their home in Ilderton to see her painting and we had such a delightful time. The paintings were absolutely awesome-she was a very talented lady. She lived life to the fullest for as long as she could-we would marvel at her telling us she was water skiing I think in her 80's. Maybe her 80th birthday? God bless you all-you loved her and took such good care of her, and I know that it wasn't an easy task, but you all took your turn. You will surely miss her, but she and Dad are reunited and enjoying each other once again. God blessed them both with good health until the very end and they lived so enjoying their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. We heard lots about you all. Blessings as you go through these difficult days-having to say your Good byes and they are hard even though she was ill and it was time for her to go home. Lovingly-Mary Ellen and Don

Dear Cassidy Family,
Marjorie was indeed a very kind and loving lady. For us serving in Thailand she was a prayer warrior. She once (around 1994) admonished us not to apologize for a delay in getting a prayer letter out to prayer / financial supporters.
All of you in the family, and many others far beyond have been blessed and helped by Marjorie.
May the Lord comfort your hearts now as you say your 'Goodbyes' and adjust to life without her presence.
Your brother and sister iN Christ,
Brian & Linda Crawford

My grandmother, a beautiful soul and I'll forever cherish the impact she made on my life.
Soft spoken, generous, and kind, with so many wise words shared with me (and I'm sure others) over the years. As a kid, a visit to Grandma and Grandpa's house was always a welcome event. Homemade oatmeal cookies, peanut butter and banana sandwiches made with still-slightly frozen bread from the freezer, and made-up bedtime stories of "Little Bear", and true tales of real bear encounters at the cottage.
Because of her and my Grandpa, we were extremely privileged to experience long-awaited summers at a rustic island cottage, something that has given me a tremendous appreciation for the outdoors and God's creation. I will always be in awe of her water skiing slalom into her 70's, and swimming across the bay every morning for her morning coffee with her sister, Auntie Barb.
And how could you forget the painting -- all of her Georgian Bay paintings were hung on the walls of the cottage, and they captured the mesmerizing beauty of the real thing. Even as a child I would stare at those paintings and take in the beauty of the rocks, water, and windswept trees. Over the course of a decade or so she also spent time to paint memorable images of all of her grandkids -- my brother as a boy sitting on the rocks with our dog, bandaid on knee. Me as a 12 year old on the gunnels of a Zodiac, riding Atlantic waves on a whale watching trip.
She taught me how to drive a boat, and welcomed me into her home for a period in my early 20's as I settled into a new life in London, even making my lunches for work.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
