We are deeply saddened to have just learned of Bruce's untimely passing. Please know how very grateful we were, over years of 'just' knowing Bruce through his job, for his kindness, good humour, and endless patience.
We offer our sincere condolences, and prayers, for family and friends mourning such a fine man's death. May he rest forever in peace, and in your loving hearts.
We hold you in our hearts, now, as you grieve, and offer profound sympathies at your loss.
sincerely

Bruce was our wonderful mechanic. Each time we saw him was a pleasure. Our last conversation was about books, and Bruce was saying he loved the same books we did-Dick Frances, Baldacci, etc.
Our hearts are with you as you navigate this terribly sad time.

To Louanne and the entire Dickout and Foster family:
I was saddened to hear of Bruce's passing, since the last news I had heard was that his health had improved last year. I visited frequently at the Dickout home on McCall St. in the early 1960's and got a chance to watch Bruce growing up. He was a good kid and a great adult.
I didn't see him often after he moved to London, but we did have a chance to catch up in the summer of 2018.
Please accept my condolences.

To The Dickout Family - Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the loss of Bruce. Bruce and his siblings all attended North School in Simcoe where they formed many friendships and were diligent students. Their mother Glennie was an integral part of the Home and School Association. Although it has been a number of years, the family has not been forgotten. I know that I can speak for my former colleagues as well as myself in mourning the loss of Bruce.
Sincerely,
Virginia Drayson and Family

We are so sorry for your loss. It was far too soon for such a great guy to be taken away.
He was good hearted, genuine, energetic and full of life! It shone thru in his dealings with others. He could strike up an easy conversation with just about anyone he encountered.
He was one of a kind and I am proud to have been able to have him as a brother-in-law.
It is so hard to believe he is really gone. He will be greatly missed!

We are deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Bruce's passing. Our thoughts and hearts go out to you Dave, Marnie and family. Bruce was such a great guy. Like Doug said, always smiling and laughing. Such a joy to be around. What comes to mind is all those great summers we spent in Southampton. Thank you for letting me a part of your family during those years. May he rest in peace with your mother and father. Sincerely, Dan and Janet Gascon

How terribly sad this news of Bruce's passing has come. Bruce was one of the warmest people we have ever met and we are so thankful that we had the pleasure of meeting both he and Louanne during Expo 1986. Our times together since then have always been fun. Having Bruce provide us with such great service, honesty and compassion regarding our vehicles/hot rods was so appreciated. His love for the Great Lakes and boating is like our own. Our hearts go out to Louanne and the family. xoxo

Lou Anne, Natalie and Jason. We are so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. As an employee Bruce always showed his love of cars and was an amazing mechanic. Working with Bruce was a pleasure as the day would usually start out with "GO BEARS". Bruce was a genuine person as we had lots of laughs and good times. He will be missed by all. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To Louanne and family,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Bruce was a good man who was always quick with a smile when people he knew entered the room. Bruce came from a great family and he was always happy to see his friends from his hometown of Simcoe. I have many fond memories of our teenage years hanging out. He will be deeply missed by his family and anyone that knew him. Scott, Wayne, George and I have lost a great friend.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Louanne.

Our family of people and Toyotas/Lexus became friends with Bruce at Williams Automotive. When Ian stepped back Bruce became the front man at Williams and it was always a pleasure to see him and get caught up. I began the restoration of a M38A1 Military Jeep and Bruce became my mentor offering support and assistance. Once on the road, Bruce would say, "Were car guys" call anytime if you need help. And yes, I certainly did need help. My two daughters, in their early 20's felt completely satisfied and respected taking their cars to Bruce. (Vs the dealer experience) As I was taking my Jeep to car shows, Bruce became ill and I regret we never met up at these events. A true gentleman, our family and I feel a tremendous loss personally and for his family. We are so sorry for your loss. We wish you the best at this most difficult time. Lou, Natalie and Jason, I cannot imagine the sense of loss you must be feeling. Our hearts go out to your entire family.
The obituary is beautifully written. I loved how Bruce could talk to anyone and made a genuine effort to get to know people. He loved to talk about cars, sports and the many things that interested him. As a mechanic, he had a great work ethic and we trusted him completely. We referred our family and friends to him all the time. On several occasions we sought his advice on the side and he was always helpful.
There was no doubt that his greatest love was all of you. I know you have so many happy memories and I hope they bring you some comfort in the days ahead. You will be in our thoughts.
Much love, Gary and Tara McDonald
