Monica:
The last time we were together I was crossing Blackfriars bridge in Harris Park. You and Chris were strolling arm in arm towards me. Then came the " bear hug" & all the reminiscing. Your eyes sparkling as we talked about our children & your beautiful smile as your love for your grandchildren shone through.
I wish I could go back to that day & thank-you again for all your kindness & support to me for so many years.
Your light will shine on through all the people you touched.

My sincere condolences to Monica's Family. I had the privilege of knowing Monica for over 2 decades, As well as being her PSW Instructor. She was on my best students. Capable, Kind and Caring. I will miss her infectious laughter. May she rest in peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Chris and all of Monica's family. I lived next door to Monica for many years...we had our love of travel in common. You were an incredible lady. Always putting others before yourself. I love you to the moon and back I will cherish the memories we shared at family gatherings and on the boat. Swing sets, walks along gravel roads, backyard playhouses, a busy house full of love, and warm delicious meals.
Narratives on classical music at Opa and Oma’s house coupled with confusion over Dutch and German words I didn’t know.
Kathy by her side and Kathy by hers. Hard to think of the one without the other.
Warm hugs and appetizing nicknames putting me in mind of dessert.
A beautiful smile contained within the same soul who would fight to the death for those she loves.
If there is anyone who knows her must love her. Anything else is impossible.
