Obituary of Raymond Douglas McBride

On Saturday June 25th, 2022 while peacefully at home with his wife by his side, We are sad to announce the passing of Raymond “Ray” Douglas McBride in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of Wendy Lee (nee Chilvers) of  43 years.  Loving father of Micheal, Dawn(Steve), Justin(Katie) and predeceased by infant son Douglas.
Proud Papa to Kayla, Lorenzo, Ethan, Hailey, Keeva and Quinlan. Predeceased by parents Justin and Margaret, brothers Maurice,  Joe and sisters Elaine (Mike) and Bernice. Survived by Madeleine, Jeanette and sisters in law Ruth,  Marion, brother in law Marcel(Bonnie) and  nieces and nephews Dan, Mike, Kevin, Bobby, Ron, Steven, Jeffery, Dennis, Linda, Brian, Kim, Jeanette, Michele, Jim, Joe, Lisa, Mickey, Chris, Becky, Pete, Anna, Karen and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by In Laws Bill (Chilvers) and Marjorie and sister in law Alice. Survived by sister in law Debbie(Steve), Brothers in law Dave(Pat), Pete(Michele) and a number of nieces and nephews.
Raymond Will be missed by his life long best friend Henry and will not be forgotten by his furry friend Dusty.  Ray was known for his love of his family, playing cards, music and his sense of humour. The family would like to thank Nurse Karen for her exceptional support and dedication as well as Dr. Hamilton and his team for their care and compassion. A graveside service will take place on Saturday July 9 2022 at St.Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at 11am in Barrie Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be made  to the Humane Society or PHSS.
