My deepest condolences are passed on to Gary and family. Beve and I had a special connection, and although we were separated by many miles, we managed to keep in touch. I have a beautiful hand made quilt she made for me, knowing she put hours and hours of her time into creating it; a quilted wall hanging, a bright red and green Christmas runner, a lovely quilted bag, and so many other wonderful thoughtful gifts. She made beautiful quilted blankets for my grandchildren Katy and Evan when they were born. Her generosity and her kindness were just a few of her attributes.
While living in Calgary and when we were both much younger, Beve and I were inseparable. I dragged her to Girl Guide meetings, coerced her into becoming a leader. I talked her into taking art lessons (I don’t think she ever forgave me for that one); we went camping; we joined Jazzercise and suffered through aching muscles, and we laughed a lot. All of these activities I will never forget.
Rest in peace my dear friend, I will miss you.
