Obituary of Barbara Elizabeth Braithwaite

BARB  BRAITHWAITE   April 16, 1948 – September 25,2022.

It is with great sorrow our family announces the passing of Barbara Braithwaite.

Barb was a kind, upbeat lady, full of life, energetic, with a radiant smile that would light the darkest room. She was an inspiration, with seldom a negative thought or word about anyone or anything.

Teaching was a passion and she leaves behind a legacy of years teaching and instructing at numerous Colleges where Barb considered her student’s success a rewarding achievement.

Always creative, she loved gardening, sewing, painting and decorating. She loved pursuing these arts both here in Canada and in their winter home in Florida.

Barb was an avid animal lover, welcoming many cats and dogs into her home over the years, including having her own aviary raising and caring for different breeds of birds.

Barb is predeceased by her parents George and Marion Lill, her brother George Lill and her husband Bob Braithwaite (1999)

She leaves behind her twin daughters Wendi and Becky, as well as grandchildren Jaden, Ryann,  Brody and  Alex.

Barb will be dearly missed by the love of her life and soul mate, Don
