Mark Blesity

Obituary of Mark Matthew Blesity

Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully, accompanied by his family, at 82. He is lovingly remembered by grandchildren Emma and Zack, daughter-in-law Susy, son Mark, and close friends Maria and Jose. Mark is predeceased by his dear mother, Theresa, and father, Peter. Upon emigrating to Canada from Baja, Hungary, Mark was born in Hamilton, Ontario, on May 27th, 1940. Mark worked tirelessly as a professional for 33 years as a Quality Control Technician at Consumers Glass and an additional ten years as Security Officer upon retirement. He was a sports enthusiast who loved the Hamilton Tigercats and New York Yankees. He was well travelled and relished attending Frank Sinatra's live performances. We remember Mark for his love of family, exemplified by his constant support and compassion. He truly enjoyed taking part in his grandchildren's theatrical and sporting events. We revere him for always being there when his family needed him most. The Blesity Family would like to thank all the staff at Country Terrace, especially the Director of Care, Darren Smith, Dr. Whynot, and Mark's Family Physician, Dr. Omar Al-Azem. With the support of these remarkable healthcare professionals, Mark maintained his wit, love of sports, music, and history and persevered through many significant health challenges. At Mark's behest, there will be a private service for immediate family at St. Peter's Cemetery and Holy Family Mausoleum.
