Obituary of Darlene May Hardy

After a long and courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sorrow to announce the loss of a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who peacefully passed away on February 24, 2023 at Victoria Hospital in her 69th year wih her family at her bedside.

Loving daughter of the late Emery and the late Anne Denomme. Darlene was a loving and devoted wife to John L. Hardy for 50 years of blessed marriage. She was the proud mother of John and Catherine, and cherished grandmother of Hannah Lucier. Survived by her brothers Donald, Roger, Richard, and Nelson Denomme. Predeceased by her brother Gary Denomme and her sister Dorothea McFadden. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff who looked after her the past two years at Victoria Hospital Cancer Clinic.

There will be no visitation or Funeral Service as per Darlene's request. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
