Obituary of Stan Elo

Paul Stanley “Stan” Elo, age 69 of London Ontario.  At home with his family on Friday March 17, 2023 transitioned from this life to the next stage of his Cosmic Journey.  Stan gracefully and heroically battled pancreatic cancer since August 2022.  He is our hero.  Born August 10, 1953 raised in London Ontario, son of the late Saara and Henry Elo, predeceased by his twin sister Vivienne (1953), brothers George and Reino.  Stan is survived by his  wife and soul mate of 50 years, Michele (Venuta) Elo, and his precious children Tamra, Aislinn and Devin.  Stan adored his grandchildren, Lucas, Mya, Lena and Mya Chanel, and had a loving place in his heart for Brittany Michel and Dion Lach. Also survived by his sister Janette Brennholt (Bob), brother Carl, his wife Beverley as well as sister in law Pat Elo (George).  His large loving family includes many incredible nieces and nephews who he loved and cherished.  Kiki the big fur baby misses her daddy.  Stan had a passion for music and his guitar.  He was never far away from his Ovation acoustic, and was always up for a good jam.  He loved fusion, blues, rock and jazz.  His home was filled with music and love.   Stan enjoyed his professional driving career, driving long haul for FedEx Freight. He enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the road, listening to hundreds of audio books.  He gathered great friendships along his journey, a testament to his beautiful spirit.  Everyone who knew Stan loved him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 1 2023 at Gateway Church, 890 Sarnia Road, London Ontario.  Visitation will be at 10 a.m. the celebration of his life at 11 a.m.  Please join the family for a light lunch and refreshments to reflect on your memories of Stan following the service.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be a private family inurnment at a later date.
