Obituary of Grace Mary MacDougall
On Sept 4, 2023 Grace MacDougall (Nee Young) passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Western University Hospital in London, Ontario. Grace was in her 101th year of life.
Grace was born in Fishcell, Newfoundland and enjoyed a great childhood with her siblings. Grace left home at a young age to go to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia to work for the Pink family. After some time Grace decided to move to Toronto where she met the love of her life Gerald MacDougall and had three children Joyce, James and Frank.
The family would have lots of fun and stories to tell from trips to the cottage, Florida trips and east coast trips to visit family. Grace cheeriest ever moment were with her grandkids Hunter and Mason. They were her life and Grace often talked and showed pictures of them to anyone who would listen or look. Grace and Gerald sold the farm and moved in with Frank, Lisa, Hunter and Mason and enjoyed seeing their grandkids everyday.
Grace was an extraordinary woman and a great mother, she never got mad and always smiled and will never be forgotten.
Grace was predeceased by Gerald MacDougall and Joyce MacDougall. She is survived by James MacDougall (Cathy) and Frank MacDougall (Lisa) and two grandsons Hunter MacDougall and Mason MacDougall. Grace was loved and will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
