Kirk and I quickly became best friends in high school. He was the kind of friend you might find only once in a lifetime. A kind soul, Kirk was easy to get along with, quiet, and quick witted. He fell in love with the farm life, and taking care of animals, and developed friendships with most of them. Kirk never left the farm to live elsewhere, and became part of our family. He was a remarkable human being. Alice, Dennis, Monica, Danielle, and their families, I share in your grief and love you all.
