Obituary of Paul Hance Sipprell

SIPPRELL, Paul Hance (May 22, 1960 – June 30, 2016) Husband and soul mate of Dianne (Vance), amazing dad to Krista and Molly; son to Lorne and Dorothy Sipprell; brother to Heather Sipprell; brother-in-law to Don and Jay Vance, Dave and Karen Vance, and Doug and Carolyn Vance; fun-loving uncle to many nephews and nieces; and friend to all who crossed his path. Born and raised in Brampton, Paul developed his artistic talents at Sheridan College. After graduating from the Illustration program in 1982, he ran his own graphic design business for several years in Toronto before eventually applying is creative skills for General Motors and General Dynamics in London where he and Dianne settled to raise their family. Paul had a hearty appetite for food, drink, fun and friends, combining all four whenever possible. In addition to being a compulsive comparison shopper and masterful Kijiji merchant, Paul had a passion for outdoor pursuits, including camping, canoeing, windsurfing, whitewater kayaking, telemark skiing, and mountain biking. Paul was a regular at the Vance cottage on Lake of Bays, and a fixture at hockey arenas, school gyms and soccer pitches across Ontario where he took joy in cheering on his girls.
