Obituary of Frank Tamasi
Frank (Franco) Tamasi, (69), of London, Ontario, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on January 13, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Born on October 6, 1954 in Carpinone, Italy, Frank came to Canada at 17 years of age, determined to create a new life for himself. He was a hard worker, dedicating many years to managing restaurants and working in factories, never taking a sick day or arriving late. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Maureen (née Conlon); his three children, Andrea, Tanya, and Sabrina; his sons-in-law, Tyler Dewbury and Brandon Parker; and his three grandchildren, Liam, Novella, and Callum Dewbury. Frank is also survived by his siblings, Concetta and Nick Di Nucci, Gabriele and Guilia Tamasi, and Sandra and Nicola Formichelli; his nieces and nephews, Linda, Adele, Carla, Sandra, Mike, Marco, Chris, and Antonio; the extended Tamasi, Valente, and Conlon families; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Michele and Adelina Tamasi, and his niece, Michela Formichelli. Frank's favourite hobbies included spending time with his grandchildren, making people laugh, tending to his extensive garden of fruits and vegetables, and making homemade wine and sauce. He also loved being 'Mr. Neighbourhood Watch', scratching lotto tickets, teaching his kids important life lessons, and checking out his favourite places on Google Earth. Frank had a big personality and left an impact on everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by many. At Frank's request, there will be a private celebration of life for close family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society in Frank's name.
