Obituary of Connie Danis

After a brief illness on Wednesday, March 6th, Connie Danis of London, in her 89th year, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Loving wife of the late Peter Danis. Beloved mother of Tammy McIntyre (Don), Monique Gingrich (Rod), Mark Danis and the late Kim Danis. “Bada**” grandma of Beck, Jacob and Sarah Gingrich. Brandon and Alyssa McIntyre.

Born in Smiths Falls, Connie met Peter while they both worked at Bell Canada. After marrying, they started a family and moved from Smiths Falls to Dollard-Des Ormeaux, then Thunder Bay to Pickering, back to Thunder Bay then finally settling in London, Ontario. As a lover of all animals she welcomed them all into her home. She enjoyed curling, bowling and was an avid knitter. She will be greatly missed by her family including all her furry friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Humane Society London & Middlesex.
