Obituary of Charles George Graham
Charles "Charlie" George Micheal Graham, at the young age of 44 passed away Wednesday April 17th 2024. Beloved son of the late Paul and Marylin Graham, to whom he was born August 6 1979 in London Ontario. Cherished brother to Sherry and Robert. Big Big Uncle Charlie to Matthew, Gabrielle, and Benjamin. He also left behind Aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. All who loved him dearly.
Having grown up in a wheelchair, without hearing, and only his right hand, His life did have many struggles. Despite this his family and friends were blessed to have received the most incredible joy, love and appreciation from him, which surpasses words. Given even a little love and attention he would light up, and return what was given tenfold! Any who have ever received this are truly blessed.
Charlie attended Robarts School for the Deaf. Was a long-time member of the Deaf Church Community, and had deaf friends across Canada whom he met over the years at retreats. He enjoyed power wheelchair hockey for many years. Spending time with family and friends. Had a passion for all things Truck (Ford), RV, trailer, or mobility vehicle. The last few years he deeply enjoyed fishing whenever he could be taken out. Charlie had a desire to do or try anything new that he could, and loved every experience he could have.
His loss has sent tremors through his loved ones, both family and friends. In his absence we will remember our most cherished memories of him. Some peace is found in his strong Christian faith, and our belief is that he is in Heaven finally able to stand up and use his legs to run free like his heart always has. Running no doubt, right into the arms of his waiting parents for a Great Big Bear Hug that only his father Paul could give, and we know that Charlie missed.
Charlie you are loved, and will be missed.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at the Abundant Life Community Church located at 640 Grosvenor St, London Ontario at 10:00am on Saturday May 4 2024. Beverages and fellowship will follow the service. Internment will take place at 1:00pm on May 4 at the Dorchester Union Cemetery located at 2251 Dorchester Rd., Dorchester Ontario.
