Obituary of Paul Salvatore Caradonna
CARADONNA, Paul Salvatore
Oct. 4, 1965 - Nov. 14, 2024
With family by his side, Paul Caradonna passed away peacefully at McCormick Home on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the age of 59. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Marie Caradonna (nee Howard), and his brother, Kevin Caradonna. Beloved brother to Deanna Clifford (Jeff), and sister-in-law Gina Parkhouse. Proud uncle to Corbin Mott, and Matthew, Joshua, Amy and Adam Clifford. Dear great uncle to Talia. Paul will be greatly missed by many extended family members and friends.
Paul touched everyone’s heart in some way. He will be fondly remembered for his kind, and generous nature. He was free spirited, adventurous, and fun-loving. Maybe his best quality was he could drop a one-liner that would have you on your knees in laughter. He enjoyed several years in both Toronto and Ottawa working in the restaurant industry, after receiving his culinary management diploma from Algonquin College. He also worked many years with DirectBuy of London, earning awards for his superior customer service. Paul equally enjoyed the simpler life. His first summer job was working at his aunt's motel on Manitoulin Island. His chores were done by noon, and each afternoon he'd be down by the river, in the bush or on bicycles with his cousin LorriAnn.
He loved to travel, whether it was an oceanside destination, or to visit loved ones. Paul's greatest legacy was his intense love for family. He was such a proud uncle! We are all better for having known him and will hold on to the many memories. Fly free dear brother. In honour of Paul, an interment will be planned in the Spring.
A special thank-you to McCormick Care Group for 11 years of superior care of Paul. If you wish to donate to a charity in Paul's honour, please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
