Obituary of Dave Jackson
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Donald David Jackson, 77, at home surrounded by his loved ones on November 23, 2024 after a short but courageous battle against liver cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Gloria, and his sons Bob (Tammy) and Steve (Rebecca) and his grandchildren Morrison, Braylon, Ireland and Stephen Jr.
Born in London, he moved to Brantford where he spent his career teaching English at Pauline Johnson High School. He enjoyed his time there and made many good friends over the years. After retirement he enjoyed travelling, golf, poker and reading but his favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandkids. There were many card and board games, park visits, hikes, pool activities, dance recitals and sports to sit back and enjoy. He loved every minute of it.
He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Linda Francis and Sandy Grover, his cousins, and many nieces and nephews, and his friends. He will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday December 15, 2024 at Moose Lodge, 35 Charterhouse Crescent in London, ON from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
