Obituary of Sigrid Angele Daly

Sigrid Daly (nee VanRaemdonck)

   It is with tremendous sadness that her family announces the death of Sigrid Angele Daly after a brief illness at Victoria Hospital on January 9, 2025, at the age of 79.

   Sigrid was surrounded in love by her daughter Kelly and granddaughter Mackenzie when she passed.

   A supportive and loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Sigrid was predeceased by her husband Douglas Daly.  Dearly loved mother of Kelly Daly (Kevin McDougall) and cherished grandmother to Mackenzie Daly-Wiscombe.

  Sigrid also leaves behind her sister Fabby VanRaemdonck and brother & sister-in-law  Don and Carol Daly and many nieces, nephews and cousins spanning from Canada, USA and Belgium.

  Sigrid had a career in Property Management after helping her late husband run a painting company.  She retired in 2001 in order to care for her granddaughter Mackenzie when Kelly worked.

   Sigrid was courageous, strong and incredibly caring; helping others whenever she could. Her proudest achievement was her family with a special spot in her heart for her daughter, granddaughter & her faithful pug Willow.

  Sigrid was cremated at Woodland Crematorium on January 17, 2025. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Spring.
