Obituary of Muriel Ann King

On Friday, January 17, 2025, Muriel "Ann" King, in her 85th year, peacefully passed away at Victoria Hospital in London Ontario, to join with her beloved husband Denis, parents Renee and Henry Thomson, brother James "Jim" (Lise), sister Patricia (Don), and grandson Michael.

Loving mother to Dan, Ron (Carrie), and Chris (Kim).

Proud grandmother of Shayne, Alyssa (Quinton), Nathan, Anthony (Samantha), Zackary (Beth), Curtis, Ryan (Mikela), Megan (Jeff), Matthew (Chantel) and Brooke (Devyn).

Cherished great grandmother of Deaghlan, Coen, Lainey, and Isla.  A visit from them always brightened her day!

Ann was kind, caring, loving and always looked forward to watching the Toronto Blue Jays.  She loved the Jays!!!  She also enjoyed playing games with the family and friends.  Darts, TV bingo, and lobby bowling were some of her favourites.

Our family would like to express our gratitude to the kind staff at Victoria Hospital for the wonderful care given to her during her last few days.

We would also like to thank the staff and all the friendships made at the Dorchester Terrace Retirement Residence.  We are truly grateful for her time there.

At Ann's request, cremation will take place, and a scattering of ashes will be held in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the Woodland Cemetery, Mausoleum and Crematorium, 493 Springbank Drive, London Ontario, N6J 1H3, 519-471-7450.
