Lorna, Elaine, Tracy, Nancy, Luke and the Faulkner Family,
It is with mixed emotions that we recently received word of Wilson's passing. Many memories flood our minds and we too will miss this fine man of God along with you all. Yet we celebrate his promotion to Glory for we know according to Scripture that Wilson has been already welcomed into the presence of Jesus and he is free from suffering that has been a part of everyday living in this sinful world.
We have been praying that God has comforted you all with his Divine presence and you are all assured of seeing Wilson again in Glory! May every blessing be upon you all as you say your earthly "good-byes" and be reminded of God's wonderful promises for times like these!
Thinking of you all and praying for you,

My sincere condolences on the passing of Wilson. I think the saying that was etched in my mind from the Salvation Army church on the hill where we bid farewell to a number of the clan, clearly applies to a true gentleman - promoted to glory!
God's speed to your grieving as your prepare to celebrate a life well lived. From Wilson's call to cummunity and ecumenical service with his teaching and pastoral leadership, be comforted in knowing that he had a profound impact on many.
As one of your cousins, please know that you are not grieving alone!

Lorna & Family,
So, so, sorry to just read of Wilson’s passing. We were shocked to hear this sad news. Our memories, of both you and Wilson, go back many, many years ago when he was teaching in Triton and we were teaching in Pilley’s Island. Time passes far to quickly.
We want to pass on our sincere condolences. Scripture tells is that to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. You know that he is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is walking on Streets of Gold where there is no more heartaches, sorrow or tears.
Our hearts ache for you because even tho you know he is in the presence of the Lord the earthly separation is no less painful. Treasure all the memories you made, together, this past 52 years. They will get you through the days ahead.
Will be uplifting you all in prayer,
May God be your comforter and guide in those days.

And so the conflict has ceased and the honourable discharge has been awarded. Major Wilson Faulkner is promoted to glory and the great hall of the overcomers. The Commander and Chief of the blood bought army of the Lord has released him from all earthly service to enjoy the splendour of heaven. The torch of commitment and sacrifice is passed from his weary hand to those who come behind marching ever onward. His now is a triumphant song of the redeemed who sing of the worthiness of Calvarys lamb. Sorrow not as those who have no hope but view his home going as that of the prade of the victor returning from the fight to a victors welcome. Precious is the passing of the Saint from earth to heaven and from time to timelessness. His was a life lived for God, family and fellow man and therefore a life of fulfillment. To live is Christ and to die is gain. Major Wilson has gained much and now awaits in heaven the arrival of the church of the Lord Jesus so the coranation of King Jesus can begin. Remember they cannot crown Jesus until we all get there.Good night solider of the Lord, rest with your tour of duty done and the battle won.

I first met the Faulkner’s (Triton) when I went to grade 2. Mrs. Faulkner was my teacher and as the years passed, Mr.Faulkner taught me in grader 6. They were both really good friends of my parents while retiring in Triton. Mr. Faulkner will be sadly missed by myself and all the Roberts family. He was truly a good man.. My sincere condolences to the family..
