Obituary of Arsene Joseph Poisson
POISSON, ARSENE (“Abe”) JOSEPH , born February 1, 1936, passed away March 14, 2019 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents Olive and Raymond Poisson.
His memories will be cherished by his loving children Elizabeth (Lisa) Thomas (Neil), Ann-Marie Poisson, and Michele Poisson (Doug).
Dear grandfather of Alec (Cara), Ben (Brie), Danielle, Michelle (Dave) and Amanda (Tom).
Sadly missed by great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Jackson, Logan.
Siblings: Isabelle (Leo) Robitaille, Cy (Jennie) Poisson, Eddie (Margaret) Poisson, Ida Poisson, Pearl (Al) Jacques, Roland (Jean) Poisson, Maurice (Classie) Poisson, Moise (Mary) Poisson, Ernie (Alice) Poisson, Marguerite (Charlie) Charlebois, Rose (George) Fink, Marcella (Glen) Lemire, Marcel (Pat) Poisson and Clifford (Barb) Poisson.
Abe was an employee of Supertest Petroleum for many years before working at Victoria Hospital and then Parkwood Hospital. Abe will be missed by many family members, nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thank you to the staff of Mount Hope Nursing Home and University Hospital. Your kindness and excellent care is greatly appreciated.
A private Cremation service will take place at Woodland Cemetery. A memorial service to celebrate Abe’s life will be held later this spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkwood Institute.
