Obituary of Christina McManus

Christina McManus  (1953-2019)

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of Christina on April 23, 2019 at University Hospital, London, Ontario.

Chris is survived by her mother Anneliese, her sisters  Anne, Joyce (Steve), Joanne (Jurgen) and her nieces  Alix, Crystal and Lori. She is predeceased by her father Joseph and long time partner George Ross.

Chrissy worked at the Timmins Museum for many years where she pursued her passion for arts and culture. She also loved her quiet time at home gardening or on the lakes and rivers fishing.

People were attracted to her free spirit which took her to many great cities on the continent. Her wit and charm made them feel comfortable immediately during a conversation and those who needed help felt her caring and compassionate nature.

She is sadly missed by her family, close friend Rick Klimo and her companion Rick Beaulieu.

As per Christina's wishes, cremation has taken place.   A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends at the Timmins Museum, 325 2nd Avenue on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 7:00  to 9:00 p.m.
