Swinkels:  Hendrikus “Harry”

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on May 29, 2019 in his 66th year.  Cherished husband of Nancy (Yoder) Swinkels. Loving father of Bradley and Stacey Swinkels (Simon Kluckow).  Adored Opa to Spencer Kluckow. Brother of Tonny (late Jan) Vennekens, Jo (Jan) Van de Pol, Toon (Tini) Poels, Toos (Peter) Croymans, Nelly (Herman) Janssen, Annie (Jo) Joosten, Mia (Hay) Rubie, all of Holland.  Harry came to Canada in 1972. He served the London area for 42 years as owner of Harry Swinkels Roofing. He will be remembered for his kindness towards both friends and strangers. To continue Harry’s legacy we ask that you perform an act of kindness for someone in need.  A Celebration of Harry’s life will be held on Saturday, June 1st from 2 – 5 pm with Words of Remembrance at 4 pm at Fire Rock Golf Club, 10345 Oxbow Drive, Komoka, Ontario.  Cremation has taken place.  Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Joseph’s Hospice and online condolences may be left at www.woodlandcemetery.on.ca
