1975-2019
Sheldon C Sweeney, 43, passed away unexpectedly the night of June 8th, 2019 at his home in London, Ontario while peacefully sleeping. He was born December 7th, 1975 In Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Son of Rose Saulnier (Dave) and Sidney Sweeney (Janet). Survived by life partner Trish Melanson, son Mason Robichaud and daughter Sydney Stewart. Brother’s Jason Sweeney (Ashley), Nathan Sweeney, and sister Marcie Saulnier (Murray).
Sheldon was a devoted father and “husband” and will be missed by many. He enjoyed surrounding himself with loved ones, fishing, traveling, camping, and cooking. He will be remembered for being a proud East Coast fisherman, and for his many talents in the construction industry. He will also be remembered for making people smile and laugh as he had such a great sense of humour. We all know that he is either with his Nannie Saulnier cooking and baking up a storm, or on a lobster boat with his late friend Gabriel Melanson and loyal pet Gage.
