In loving memory of Betty Crocker Newing (nee Squires), who passed away peacefully on June 30, 2019, in her 94th year, surrounded by loving family and the caring People of St.Joseph’s Hospice.
Loving wife of Jim for 63 years after meeting at a dance in Crawford, England. They had 4 adoring children, eldest Eric of London, daughter Sandra of St.Thomas, Jeff of Dorchester and Mike of Mississauga. She was a wonderful mother-in-law to David Sparenburg, Jackie and Sharon. She was a sweet grandmother to Shane, Simone, Alanna’s, Ryan and Austin. And so pleased to be great grandmother to Jackson.
Her sunny smile will be missed by all, and her amazing ginger snap cookies baked every Christmas will be remembered every year to come.
The family will receive friends at the Lambeth Legion, 7097 Kilbourne Rd., for a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 20th, 2019.
