Dan and I attended the Grand Bend Drags over the past few years. Even when 40C heat off the track and direct sunlight turned Dan into a red lobster. Also during the summer months we attended the London Majors baseball games on Friday nights. During the winter we went to the London National's and Komoka Kings hockey games weekly. On a few occasions we went to the horse races in London. We never exceeded our $10 limit total for the entire 10 races during the evening. With $2 bets if he won we would laugh over his winning maybe .60 cents. Dan enjoyed staying out at Fanshawe trailer park in the family trailer with Rosalind during the season. Dan loved the camp fires and fishing from the canoe while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. Dan was employed by CP Rail for 30+ yrs. This long term employment is almost unheard of now a days. He progressed to his last position of CHIEF DISPATCHER. Responsible for all movements of trains and over a 1,000 mile territory including the Toronto Go Trains.
