To Peter, John, Bob and all related families:
I scarcely know what to say.
Saying "I'm sorry for your loss" is just not adequate, - especially from a first cousin.
You know our (my) small branch of the McCutcheon family left London when I was a child. My parents were not good at maintaining connections with the family members we left behind and, as children, we did not have the opportunity to play with and come to know well our cousins. I did have a time, while I attended Western, to come to know you better and I will forever regret that I did not make better use of that opportunity.
Now we come to the untimely passing of a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend .... and cousin. A dictionary definition of CONDOLENCE is "mourning along with" and that is exactly what I extend to you now.
