With heavy hearts we announce the passing of May Cattani (Nee Jacobs). Peacefully at The Dearness Home, London, Ontario on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Otto Ernst (July 9, 1973) Loving Mother of Sandra Zavitz and her husband Ross, Yvonne Bradley, and the late Elsa Goss (Jack). Sister of the late Rose Blake (Dennis). Loved Grandmother of David Goss, Jim Goss (Lisa), Chalene Henkell (Patrick), Roger Zavitz (Teresa), Chris Zavitz, Kelsey Zavitz, Rob Owens. Dear Great Grandmother to David Goss Jr., Heather Campbell, Tanin Henkell, Morgan Henkell, Dylan Zavitz, Destiny Henkell, Mason MacCallum, Anesha Curtis, Dakota Zavitz and Summer Curtis-Zavitz. Dear Aunt of Fay Brett (Tom), Pearl Batt, Shirley Cooper (Peter), Pat Khan (Paul), Doreen Blake, Dennis Blake (Maria), Sally Lake (Geoff). Predeceased by nephew Tony Blake (Susan). Missed by many more great nieces and nephews. May was born on September 30, 1921 in London, England. She immigrated to London, Ontario, Canada in 1952 with her husband Otto and two daughters Sandra and Yvonne and became a Canadian Citizen in February of 1968. May retired from Eaton's Department Store in 1989 after 25 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed travelling with her many friends and family over the years. We would like to thank our family and friends for their thoughts and prayers over the last few months. We would also like to thank the nurses and staff at the Dearness Home for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place with interment in the spring. The Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at the Lambeth Legion 7097 Kilbourne Road, London, Ontario N6P 1K5 from 1 - 4 pm.
