Obituary of David Morgan Dillon

DILLON, David (Dave) Nov. 25, 1963 - Nov. 14, 2019 Dave Dillon passed away suddenly on Thursday November 14, 2019 in his home in Port Stanley at the age of 55. He is survived by his daughter Morgan Jane Passarelli, his brothers Tim (Christine) and Kirk (Julie), and his nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Kate, Loghan, and Jennifer. He will also be missed by his many friends and colleagues. Dave was born in London, Ontario to Dr. Michael and Mrs. Margaret Dillon. He went to London South Collegiate Institute and went on to graduate from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in political science. Dave was an active member of the Progressive Conservative Party, recently working as a Regional Organizer for the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. Dave had a long history supporting many candidates in both provincial and federal elections and was also a Parliamentary Assistant at Queens Park from the mid 1990's to 2003. Dave was an avid sports fan. He also enjoyed playing softball, staying active, and doing the daily crossword. He was passionate about world issues, and loved to debate both Canadian and American politics. Within the family, he is remembered fondly as 'Crazy Uncle Davie' for his sense of fun and good humour. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday December 15, 2019 at Joe Kools Restaurant in London, Ontario from 1-3 pm.
