Passed away peacefully, in her 100th year, in London, Ontario. Missed deeply by her loving family. Daughter of Robert Eli Winters and Agnes Sophia Parkinson; sister of Isobel Main (1989); cherished wife of the late Dr. Lorne V. Frances lived most of her life in London, Ontario, first as a student at UWO (History '42) where she made lifelong friendships, and later as a supportive wife to her husband Lorne and encouraging mother to her three children. She was involved in International House as an English teacher for new Canadians, in the Artists Workshop of London, and The Embroiderers Guild at St. Paul's Cathedral. Frances was an artist at heart, exploring a variety of media throughout the years, and creating many elegant, whimsical and imaginative pieces. She also enjoyed reading History and current events, as well as playing bridge with her dear friends. Frances will be greatly missed by those who knew her and loved her.

Funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, 1204 Richmond Street, London, Ont. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, beginning with visitation from 1-2, service 2-3, and reception 3-4 p.m.
