Obituary of Glen Marsh

With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Glen Edward Marsh on April 2, 2020 in his 95th year. Loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, Glen will be missed by his wife of 64 years Margaret (nee Rennie), his children Cathy Stead (Darryl), Nancy Prohaszka (Gary Bloye) and Steve Marsh. Glen was the cherished grandfather of Chad Prohaszka (Jen Borthwick), Matthew Stead (Courtney) and Jason Stead. Great grandfather to Emily and Rowan Stead. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Hope Marsh. Glen grew up in Coldstream where he helped run his father's General Store. Later as a driving instructor he would meet Margaret. Many times over the years he would run into people and later say he'd taught them how to drive. Glen loved people and conversation and enjoyed work in sales and insurance before having a successful career in real estate. The family would like to thank the wonderful 3rd floor staff at Mount Hope St. Mary’s for their kind and ever patient care of Glen and for the many adventures they took him on. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will follow in Coldstream at a later date.
