Michelle and family, I did not know Dave, but I do know Michelle and there is no doubt in my mind that he must have been a wonderful person to have the heart of such a sweet and caring wife. My heart is so heavy for what you are going through at this time. I know, Michelle, that you were already dealing with a deep and painful loss, and now you must bear this burden. I pray that you will be comforted by your memories, by Dave's sacrifice for others through organ donation, and especially by the knowledge that through Jesus we have an eternity together. Dear Michelle, Holden and Grace We are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a very giving and thoughtful family man. Dave and I together and with other parents shared many stories and laughs over those years at the hockey rink or soccer field watching Holden and Grace and our children. He had so much love for you. Also great pride in Holden and Grace supporting them as a caring parent and role model. I fondly remember his strong family values, great humour, honesty and helpful character through his words and actions. Our family trip to Florida when we met up for several days we shared many great times including sharing meals, water parks and fun late nights rides at Disney World park will remain one of our most treasured memories because of Dave and you. May your loving memories sustain you now and many years to come.

We were saddened to lose our precious son-in-law Dave. His wonderful sense of humour and strong devotion to family will be greatly missed. To date he was the only person known to drive the 5th hole par 4 green at Terra Ceia Golf Club. This feat was indeed impressive as Dave had to cross two mini lakes to reach this isolated green. This has given us a lifetime of bragging rights regarding our beloved Dave. He will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will cherish the short time that he was with us.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Dave’s passing. Our love and thoughts go out to you Michelle, Holden, Grace, Uncle Bill, Aunt Mike ,Darryl ,Sherri and the boys. Crock was the sweetest cousin always to me. He always gave me an extra smile and nudge shoulder to shoulder to make sure I knew he cared whenever we saw each other. One of my favourite memories as kids was playing hide and seek at his house, and his idea of using the laundry shoot as an escape hatch when we thought our brothers would catch us. He always made our games together so much fun. I will treasure all my memories of our times together. My heart is heavy and my eyes full of tears, you were such a wonderful and caring person. I will miss you Dave and the bright sunshine you carried with you. Love Lorrie,Graig, Adi and Jake
