Obituary of Anthony Peter Hiscox

Anthony (Tony) Peter Hiscox passed away peacefully on the morning of November 1st, 2016 surrounded by those he loved. Tony was born in England and moved to Bermuda in his twenties where he met and married Lorraine. They were both working for the Bank of Bermuda. Tony moved to Canada so Lorraine could attend university. He worked for NCR Canada for almost 30 years as an IT professional. Devoted husband to Lorraine, Tony was a kind and gentle man who always put others first. Adored and deeply respected by his two sons Spencer and Adrian he will be greatly missed and remembered always. Tony also leaves two sisters (Victoria and Denise) who reside in the United Kingdom. Tony was quiet in nature but he had a great sense of humour and made his family and friends laugh often. He was very fond of classical music, all things British, John Wayne and Cary Grant movies, sunshine and sandy beaches and a tall rum and diet coke. Tony will be missed more than words can possibly describe. A heartfelt thank you is extended to all of the doctors, nurses and support staff who cared for Tony - most recently at Victoria Hospital in London and previously at Princess Margaret and Toronto General Hospital in Toronto. Thank you also to Dr. Bishop, the nursing staff and volunteers at St.Joseph’s Hospice in London who showed compassion and kindness when it was needed most - you are earth’s angels. Private arrangements have been entrusted to Woodland Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice (link below) who were there for Tony and the family in their time of need. https://www.canadahelps.org/dn/475
