James (“Diddy”) Norman McKee

Jim left us peacefully Thursday December 17 surrounded by family at Parkwood Institute Veterans Care in London. He was in his 98th year. Beloved husband of Audrey (2017) and Isabella (Liz, 1972), cherished father of Bob (Terry) and Bonnie, treasured grandfather of Chris (Evelina), Mike (Kaitlin), Scott (Kinari), loving great grandpa to Ella and Benjamin James and adored father-in-law of Doris. He’ll be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews – Carol (Bruce), Lynn, Ellen (Ed), Ron (Karen), Don (Sherry), Keny (Karen), John (Sandy), Janet and cousin June. He was pre-deceased by his brothers John (Olive), Gord (Ella) and sister Helen (George).

Sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the wonderful staff on 4 Bruce/Elgin for your care and support through the years. Thanks also to the family caregivers, volunteers and residents who enriched his life.

"He was the best of men who gave us joy and was the light. He was much loved.".

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will occur in Toronto at a later date.
