Very belated condolences to Rob's family. I only today learned that Rob, my friend from university, had passed. I am so sorry to hear this. I remember him so fondly; he was bright, devastatingly funny, and had a great gift for doing spot-on impressions of one of our least-favourite French professors at the University of Western Ontario, back in the early 1980s. Rest in peace, Rob.

I'm so sorry to hear of Rob's passing, or as I knew him, Monsieur Fetchison. I was a student in his 3rd grade class back in 2006. I still hold many fond memories reading to him one-on-one as well as well as sitting on the carpet with the rest of the class. I remember him showing us how big a meter was, and he compared himself to 2 whole meter sticks, which quickly made me think of him as the tallest man I knew at 8 years old. With all of the social distancing measures reminding us to stay 2 meters away, it always made me think, "one Mr Fetchison away". All of his students loved him dearly, and I'm keeping your family in my thoughts!
