Anne's `Liverpool ' family are privileged to have had her in our lives and hearts, despite the distances involved. She was a true character and a force to be reckoned with. She was all about family and always wanted to hear everyone's news. A' naughty influence ' on the younger generation, encouraging a sense of fun and adventure. She never lost her youthful outlook, more 17 than 70! We always missed her when we got together in her absence and would raise a toast in her honour. It was great that she made it home (to the Lake District) for our niece, Kate's wedding to another scouser, Colin of whom she obviously approved. We had a great time and have photos and memories which will help us through these dark days. We need to express our gratitude for the care and love given by her Canada family and for keeping us involved and informed despite the limitations of the current climate which prevented us from being with her at this time. We were spared from seeing her as her illness took hold and, with her usual efficiency , she dealt with it HER way and achieved the conclusion she would have wanted, sparing us all the pain and anguish of a drawn out demise.
Her faith will hopefully see her reunited with our Mum and Dad, who always had a special place in their hearts for their first born who paved the way for the rest of us to thrive under their loving parentage.
Anne will be sadly missed for the rest of our lives, may she rest in peace until we meet again.
