My apologies for such a late response since I am living in the States and just heard of the passing. I have many memories as a young boy since Max was friends with my parents Alfred and Rosa Baumbusch. Later when I became older Max found me a few real estate investments that did very well. Our family appreciated Max very much as he enjoyed a few German dinners at our home … and I am saddened to read he has passed… although happy he had such a beautiful life. Mrs. Leisinger and Micheal, Laurie and I are thinking about you at this time. I want you to know that Max made a difference in my life. I have fond memories as a youngster visiting you at your home with my parents. I remember Max always having a positive attitude and he really did care when he asked how everyone was doing.
