Just learned of Joe's passing the other day. My deepest condolences to the family. He was a very close friend of my late father and I met Joe on several social occasions.

I was so sad to hear of Joe's passing. For many years we were both members of
the Canadian Welsh Choir where he was a much valued singer.
I particularly remember his great sense of humour and compassionate nature and the happy times we all had on our excursions near and far to choir concerts and festivals. He was always ready to share stories of his interesting past and would also inspire others who stammered or had mental health issues by his own open mindedness and kind words. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Joe in it.

Joe and I sang together for many years as members of the Canadian Welsh Singers. I remember him as a a tall, stately man, quiet and reserved, but with a wry sense of humour and a twinkle in his eye, not to mention a beautiful deep, rich bass voice. While greatly missed by all who knew him here on earth, he'll be singing with the angels now!

Professor Corcoran taught me more than learning material, back in the eighties. He taught me growth. I still have a copy of The Giving Tree, and The Missing Piece, both touching and inspirational for me as a young student. A gentle man, and a Genteleman. Thank you, Joe.
