Ross Family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of Larry. I first met this gentle giant when we were in the same home room (!XA) in Ingersoll District Collegiate High School. After high school I began a teaching career in London that spanned from 1960 to 1998. From time to time over the years I would meet Larry while we were out shopping in various establishments in London. During such contacts we would share what was happening in our respective lives and have a few laughs about bygone days in Ingersoll. Throughout the years I found that Larry was the same easy going fun loving person who never seemed ever to frown. Having read his obituary it is not surprising that family and numerous friends have been at the core of his life. His passing will be deeply felt by those closest to him. May he rest in peace!

I knew Larry by working with him at LPS. I also played hockey with Larry and worked with him in CID. Larry was always good for a laugh but knew when to work. The last time I saw Larry was when I had a coffee with him and Bob MacEachern at Cherry Hill Mall. He was his usual cheerful self and it was nice to see both of them again.
Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew him especially his family.

Larry was hired as a Cadet at London Police a few months prior to me joining, also as a Cadet. He was always intuitive with a great sense of humour and had a way of successfully working out investigations in an efficient, honest and step by step manner. Throughout the years his temperament remained constant and was looked upon as a good man and a good leader. His personality, interest in others, and his overall wide knowledge drew others toward him. I had the privilege, following retirement, to have many discussions with Larry around the coffee table at Cherryhill Mall. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and my sincere condolences go out to the family in their loss.

Very sorry Lois to learn of Larry’s passing. He was a good friend and I enjoyed working with him. His sense of humour and calmness (not always) kept things on an even keel. He was one of the good ones and will be remembered by many. Take care, Brian and Judy.

I worked with Larry at London Police Service. He was one of the best and I’m so sorry to hear that he has passed.
He was a smart cop with a wicked sense of humour. If there was hi jinks going on in the Detective Office you would most likely find him at the centre of it.
My condolences to all his family.

So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing so suddenly. We were so glad we were to see you both just 2 days before his passing. It was such a shock when you called on Monday. We will remain friends for ever.
We love you Louis, we enjoyed you as neighbours for a short time before we moved.
David and Pat Dore.

Frank and I always enjoyed our visits with Larry. He was always so likeable, with those “smilie eyes” . You couldn’t help but feel happy in his presence. He generously gave up a weekend at six mile lake allowing “ us crazy nurses to let our hair down and act up. “ He didn’t ban us from the cottage , even after Jan rearranged his tools!!
Our deepest condolences to Lois and family in your loss. Hugs ❤️

A simple story Shannon (but I'm not on FB): Your Dad started a lot of good parties, that your Grandpa had to end.

The best grandpa and friend. I’ll miss him more than words can say but I find peace in knowing that he’s with his son again - the person who he wanted to be reunited with most. My grandpa and dad were the best men I could’ve ever known. Until I see you both again❤️
