My sincere sympathy to the family of Michael. We just had the realization that my husband Terry worked for many years with Michael at General Motors. I had contact with Michael at the dinners at St. Michaels Church where we talked and enjoyed dinner and some of the others were privileged to hear him sing and were amazed by his beautiful voice. We were not aware that he was ill and the pandemic has limited our contact for dinners. So unfortunately we have not seen him for some time. So now may he rest in peace. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Michael’s passing. I remembered many fine dinner parties hosted by Michael (who was a fabulous chef thanks to his mother’s instruction) at the family home on Helmuth Ave and also playing basketball and volleyball with Mike at Central. I also fondly remember going down to Indianapolis to watch the Indy 500 with Mike after we graduated from Central. My deepest sympathizes to the extended family. Chris Lewis and family.

Michael joined us for St. John's weekly hospitality dinner many times over the past few years. And when one of our other guests died, Michael sang at his memorial. A big-hearted bear of a man, he'll be missed. John Thompson, Deacon, St John the Evangelist
