It is with great sadness that Wendy’s family announces her passing on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 63. Loving mother and grandmother, she was a bright and shining light to family, friends and colleagues. Wendy passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, in London Ontario.
Wendy will be dearly missed by her loving brother Chuck, her daughters Stacy and Shanna as well as her cherished grandson Damian. She will be dearly missed also by her many family and friends who brought her great joy and held a special place in her heart. Wendy is reunited with her parents Tommy and Fay, sister Pat, and brother Gary.
Wendy was a compassionate and free spirited woman, who had integrity and strength in her convictions. Time spent at Long Point making life long memories with her family was where she found solace, especially when at the beach. She loved to dance, sing, and to enjoy life to the fullest.
Later in life, Wendy became a paralegal who owned and operated her practice, Thomsen Paralegal Services. Whilst continuing to build her practice, Wendy attained a degree in Political Science from Western University. She was a well known and respected member in the London Law Society.
