Obituary of Paul Robert Rutherford

Unexpectedly, with his wife by his side on April 11th, 2017, Paul Robert Rutherford in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Dianna Rutherford of 22 years. Cherished son of Daphne and the late Robert Rutherford. Dear father of Sara Ainslie Rutherford (John Criswick) and step-father of Karen Janine Thoren (John) and Randy Bartholomew (Anne). Loving grandpa of Dennis, Sarah, Brittney, Holly, Justine, William and Leigha and great-grandpa of Brookelynne, Savannah, Averiana and Leo. Survived by his sisters Judy (Harry) Cardwell, Wendy Rutherford and Deborah Rutherford and by his brother Peter (Beth) Rutherford. Paul will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Paul was a loyal member of St. Paul’s Cathedral for over 20 years. He dedicated his time being a member of the Parish Council and a Warden for 4 years. Paul also served on the Woodland Cemetery Board. He enjoyed country dancing, 5-pin bowling and travelling. At Paul’s request, there will be a private family service. Friends and family are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Paul’s Life on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m. at Oriole Park, 22790 Amiens Road, Komoka.
