Obituary of Jodie Andrea Currie
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the passing of a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.
Jodie Andrea Currie left this world, naturally and unexpected, at 40 years of age, on Nov.29, 2021. Beloved daughter of James and Joy (2019) Currie, Jodie grew up, and lived in, London, ON. She attended Westminster Secondary School, a 2-year Arts Program at H.B. Beal S.S. and onward to Arts Studies at Fanshawe College.
Jodie was a lover of the arts and had a passion for digital media art. She enjoyed films, gaming, and had a love for all animals, especially cats.
Jodie was a passionate believer in human rights. She was introverted and introspective and had a natural ability for self expression through her creativity. Her presence and her fun, quirky sense of humour in our lives will be sorely missed. When you think of Jodie, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Jodie leaves behind her father, brothers Ray (Leigh-Anne) and their daughters Miranda and Kelsey; Ryan (Michelle) and their sons Chase and Corbin; Estelle (Bruce) MacKinnon, Jenny and Peter Northcott, Doug (Beth) Currie, Dorothy (Campbell) Cork, Alex (Janet) Currie, and many close cousins and friends.
Cremation has occurred and a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to CMHA, Candadian Diabetes Assc., or the London Humane Society.
