Obituary of Andre Desroziers
On January 20, 2022, Andre Desroziers, loving husband to Suzanne (predeceased), passed on his 85th year at LHSC after an ongoing battle with health issues. Wonderful father to Chrys (predeceased) and Anne (Wayne), and the best grandfather to Luke and the many dogs who were always a part of the family.
Andre’s passion was for craftsmanship, technical drafting, and spending many weekends travelling the province as a chauffeur for his grandson’s sporting events. Andre was in great demand for his expertise as a draftsman and helped to develop countless scientific instruments. He had a long and prosperous career before retiring at the age of 67. Having rode motorcycles most of his life, in his later years and until his death he talked about one day riding through Route 66.
Special thanks to the wonderful nurses and doctors who cared for him and showed true compassion and kindness. Further special thanks to the staff at Horizons retirement home who cared for him the last 4 years.
Celebration of life will occur at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer’s society in lieu of flowers.
