Obituary of Eleanor Wilson

After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Eleanor Wilson on Sunday April 23, 2017 in her 90th year. Eleanor was predeceased by the love of her life, Bill(William) Wilson and was married to him for 55 years until his death in 2006. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and took on all those roles with all the love that she had to give. She is survived by her daughter Debbie(Brian Jones), her son Brad (Judy), her grandchildren Lyndsey (Darryl Johnson), Kristy(Brian McNair), Courtney(Cole Inglis) and Jesse Wilson (Amber), and fondly remembered by her great-grandsons, Jacob Johnson and William McNair. Mom had a wonderful passion for music and loved to dance. She was proud of her role as a military wife during her husband's 27 years of service. She always created a family home with love and care, no matter where that came to be, as their military life took them many places. A Living Legacy tree will be planted and dedicated to Mom and Dad and a private celebration of life will be conducted by the family at that time. Our family wishes to thank the amazing staff at St. Joseph's Hospice for their excellent care and the compassion shown to our Mother during her illness.
