Obituary of Greta MacLean
We are saddened to announce that Greta (Smith) MacLean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19th, surrounded by her family. Dearest mother to Ian and daughter-in-law Mary. Proud grandmother to Kyle (Mel) and Lindsay (Alex), and most recently, great-grandmother to Isla. Greta was born in Charlton, Great Britain on July 20th, 1933. She is predeceased by her sister Christine Smith (2022, Boston). She will be missed deeply by her family and her dear friends Fiona Senekevics and Ann McKinnon. Greta was a dedicated and caring mother. She was an active golfer and loved to travel, most notably to sunny Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. She enjoyed gardening and hosting her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by those who had the opportunity to know her. May she rest in peace.
A cremation will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
There will be no services at this time and an intimate celebration of life will be held at a later date.
