Obituary of William Ronald Clifford

Clifford, William Ronald (Ron) passed away at the London Victoria Hospital in his 75th year on March 10, 2017.  He was the proud father of son Bill Clifford (London) and daughter Brenda Clifford (Dorchester), brother Bert and Mary Helen Clifford (Stratford), aunt Barb Spinney (Lindsay).  Will also be missed by the children’s mother Barb Falconer (Exeter), several cousins and many friends.  He was predeceased by his parents Reg and Hazel Clifford and two nephews Dave and Mike Clifford.  He was born and raised in Clinton.  He served with the Canadian Forces (Land) from 1958 to 1986.  Then joined the Public Service of Canada until his retirement in September 2016.  He lived in several places before being posted to Ottawa in 1978 until he moved to Stratford in November 2016.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be on June 3rd at 11 AM at the Clinton Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Hospice Stratford/Perth Project or to the Rotary Club of Stratford.
