Dear Hope, Anne, and Family,
As you already know, I am so sorry for your loss of such a loved husband and father, and for me, the loss of a loved, long time friend of over 50 years. My wife Penny and I met Brent and Hope before Annie was born, and have been great friends ever since.
I will never forget our many canoe trip adventures in Algonquin, Killarney, Quetico and other nature and wilderness places that we both adored, and our many lunch hour miles of running together while working at Western. The running was intended to keep ourselves in shape for the canoe trips. :) So many great memories, too many to count.
It was also wonderful to see his interest for mid century furniture and art once he retired. It was a passion for him, and he excelled in it. He was a special, talented and intelligent guy who my wife Penny and I loved dearly, and who I am going to miss forever.
